workspace publish

Publication saves immutable sources, SHA-256, publisher, timestamp, release notes and related-project locks, then updates latest. All project types retain complete sources. Downloads have no operating-system restriction.

steamharness workspace publish <project> [--release-log <text>]
steamharness workspace publish --deployment <id>

The version comes from the prepared draft's package.json.version. Publication is serialized per project. Duplicate versions conflict and never overwrite snapshots. Upload sources with a new package version to publish again. Publication never installs dependencies, builds or executes project code.

Project Groups

Use --project-group, --path <dir>, --dependency <alias>=<path> and --create to publish local groups. Included projects publish first; the root Kanban updates latest last and pins exact versions and source hashes.

Retry a prepared group with --deployment <id>, without local paths or group-creation options. Completed projects with matching hashes are reused.

API

Single project: POST /api/projects/{projectId}/publish, with optional releaseLog. Groups: POST /api/deployments/{deploymentId}/publish.

Inspect versions, then download any historical snapshot.

When a configuration publication draft exists, CLI sends its revision and the prepared source hash. Server rejects stale source, changed personal configuration revisions or a stale publication draft. It filters version configuration files and freezes selected attachments without changing the author directory. Only maintainers, owners or system administrators can publish official templates. See Project configurations.
